Langkawi Island is an archipelago of 104 islands lying in the north western coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The exact location of these tropical islands is at the site where the Straits of Malacca meets the waters of the Andaman Seas. The government of Malaysia has declared the entire Langkawi Island as a duty free zone. Hence this island is also termed Duty Free Island.
The main tourist attractions of Langkawi Island are its virgin white sandy beaches. The beaches have very gentle continental slope and the water is crystal clear. This island is unique in the sense that it has so many legend myths associated with it. Langkawi Island is therefore also called Pulau Lagenda or Legendary Island.

Perhentian Island (Pulau Perhentian) The two Perhentian Islands are rated as some of the most beautiful islands in the world. A virtual paradise for snorkeling and diving in crystal-clear water or just for lazing on one of the white sandy beaches waiting for the coconuts to drop.
Pulau Perhentian is located in the South China Sea 25 km from the coast of Kuala Besut. It consists of two islands, Pulau Perhentian Besar(Big Island) and Pulau Perhentian Kecil(Small Island). Both islands are surrounded by beautiful palm-fringed sandy beaches and crystal-clear turquoise-blue sea. All manner of aquatic life is visible both near and far from the beach such as turtles, sharks, coral and thousands of tropical fish. The interior is covered by jungle with a wide variety of species. You can watch monitor lizards, monkeys, geckos, flying squirrels, butterflies and many other types - sometimes right in front of your chalet. There are no roads and not many paths, so the islands are mainly peaceful and untouched - so far.

Kuching is the capital of Sarawak, situated at the banks of the Sarawak River in Borneo island. It is impossible to really enjoy Kuching from the air-conditioned tour bus. Whilst the population is predominantly Chinese and Malay, Kuching is home to people from virtually all of Sarawak's 26-plus ethnic groups. As well as Bidayuhs (formerly known as Land Dayaks) and Ibans (Sea Dayaks), you are sure to encounter Melanaus from the coastal areas and Orang Ulu, the collective name given to the smaller indigenous Kayan, Kenyah, Kelabit, Berawan, Lun Bawang, Penan, etc. All are thoroughly modern Malaysians nowadays though many of the rural people still live in longhouse communities. To make the most of your visit you must put on your walking shoes, take to the streets and join in. Kuching is a cosmopolitan city, and this is reflected in the faces on the streets.
